Meet the Cast












Isabella Grace Armbrust (Hercule Poirot) is a junior with an interest in art, poetry, and theatre. She has performed previously as William Blore in HSP’s And Then There Were None, Howie Newsome in HSP’s Our Town, and has worked backstage on several productions. She would like to shout out her classmate Jacob for knowing his lines, Juneau and Jonathan for staying up far past a reasonable hour definitely practicing those lines, Ashley for always being there to pray for her when she needed it, and Mr. Davis, for sticking around this long. She wouldn’t have made it this far without any of you.
Kensington Balam (Greta Ohlsson) is a junior who currently attends Norfolk Christian Schools. Kensington has performed in several productions including Godspell (ensemble), Annie (Tessie), Newsies (Hotshot), High School Musical (Kelsi), Wizard of Oz Jr. (ensemble and choreographer), It's a Wonderful Life (Mary), and Mary Poppins Jr. (ensemble and choreographer). Kensington has choreographed two junior musicals and many other tiny events and showcases. When Kensington is not on stage she enjoys hanging out with her friends, biking, dancing, and writing. Kensington would like to thank her mom, dad, and sister for always believing in her. She would also like to give a huge thanks to Grace Rex who she thinks she wouldn't be able to do this show without. Last shout outs go out to techie Sophia Randall, the best, and Mr. and Mrs. Haymes! She thanks God He gave her this opportunity and she can't wait for you to see what He has done in this show.
Isabella Castelloe (Helen Hubbard, Mother) celebrates her 18th birthday on opening night! When she’s freed from the Cracker Barrel prison, she loves to crochet and listen to music, preferably classic rock. Most memorable roles have been Peppermint Patty in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (2023), and Dr. Armstrong in And Then There Were None (2024). She would like to thank Mr. Davis for sharing his knowledge and helping her become a better actress. She would also like to thank her family and friends for supporting her, and above all else, she’d like to thank the Lord for touching this production and carrying her through it.
Trinity Cook (Mary Debenhan) is a seventeen year old junior in high school and this is her fourth year of doing theater. She has enjoyed the wonderful joys of working on the stage and backstage. Some of the roles that she has played that stand out to her are: Princess Irene in Princess and the Goblin, Queen Carmen in 67 Cinderellas, and Serawain in Garden of Thorns. She is thrilled to participate in this production of Murder on the Orient Express! To say that she has enjoyed working with this cast and Mr. Davis would be an understatement. She has loved theater so much, and being able to use it for God’s glory. The ways God has blessed and grown Trinity over the years is immense! She is so very grateful to Him, her family, and all the people that made this play happen!!
Ashley Covington (Countess Andrenyi, Little Girl) is a junior in high school. She’s been in theater since she was eight years old, and has been in many performances, including Oliver! with HSP (Mrs. Sowerberry/ensemble), Our Town with HSP Performing Arts (Mrs. Gibbs), Into the Woods Jr. with Stonebridge (Jack’s mother), The Pilgrim’s Progress with Logos Theatre (Hopeful), Beauty and the Beast Jr. with Stonebridge (Le Filles 1), And Then There Were None with HSP (Vera Claythorne), A Christmas Carol with HSP (Tiny Tim, Third Spirit, Fan, Sweetheart, Sparsit, Boy), and several other productions. Along with acting, she’s a singer, dancer, and pianist. She would like to thank Mr. Davis, Mr. Henaghan, Ms. Kenna, Mrs. Hernandez, her family, her castmates, and God.
Jacob Cutchin (Hector MacQueen) has been studying theater arts at HSP since 2020, and this is his second year under Mr. Davis Haymes. Jacob has held roles in Narnia, the Musical, Oliver, Not Your Average Joe, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, And Then There Were None, Wizard of Oz, Jr., and A Christmas Carol. Jacob would like to thank God first for his gifts and blessings. Second, he would like to thank Mr. Davis for being the most awesome teacher ever, and imparting all he knows about theater arts to all his students. Third, he would like to thank Mrs. Frisbie for putting her all into HSP Performing Arts and having a heart for the children involved with theater. God's blessing be with you all!
Juneau Frisbie Baade (Colonel Arbuthnot) is 16 years old. Juneau has previously performed with HSP Performing Arts as Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), Sir Lawrence Wargrave (And Then There Were None), and Dr. Gibbs (Our Town), as well as ensemble roles in Oliver! and Narnia, the Musical. He has enjoyed roles with The Academy of Arts in The Pilgrim's Progress, Kingdom's Dawn, and the upcoming Voyage of 1620 (June 2025). Favorite musical roles Juneau has held include Beast (Beauty & the Beast), Mr. Banks (Mary Poppins), Baker (Into the Woods), and Man in Chair (The Drowsy Chaperone), each with TADA. In addition to acting, Juneau has enjoyed working tech and backstage for a number of productions. Beyond theatre, Juneau loves music, singing, classical voice, playing and composing piano, and attending live performances of all kinds. He is enamored with theology, apologetics, history, languages, writing, and art. Juneau would like to thank his acting teachers and directors: Mr. Davis Haymes, Mr. Caleb Mack, Ms. Laura Warren, Mrs. Alyssa Harney, Mrs. Michelle Pudwill-Shiels, Mrs. Erica Wilkins; his music teachers: Mrs. Margaret McLewin, Mr. Don Davis, Mr. Hunter Enoch; his very first musical theatre teacher who introduced him to an early love of the art: Mrs. Lisa Hernandez; Mom, Dad, Meleao, and his grandparents for your love and support. Juneau is forever grateful to Christ for giving him areas at a young age in which he can serve and reflect light for others. Phil 2:12-16
Caleb Mercier (Pierre Michel) has been working with HSP Performing Arts since 2018. He played three roles in their 2019 production of 18 More Reasons Not To Be In A Play, had a role in their production of The Internet is Distract...Oh, Look! A Kitten! which was canceled due to covid.
Michael Mercier (Father, Head Waiter, Announcer, Radio) is 16 years old. Michael has taken an interest in art, chess, and theater. Michael once played Commander Trekker in StarQuest (HSP Performing Arts 2019). Michael would like to thank his fellow classmates for encouraging him as he plays the role he has in Murder on the Orient Express. He would like to thank God for always being there for him, even when he takes Him for granted, because God has said, “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.” -Heb 13:5
Grace Rex (Princess Dragomiroff) is an 18 year old senior who attends Norfok Christian. She enjoys singing, dancing, and creative writing. She has done theater for 4 years. Past performances include Godspell (ensemble), The 15 minute Hamlet (Gertrude), Newsies (Seitz), High School Musical (Ms. Darbus), and It's A Wonderful Life (Violet, Rose, Nick), and most recently, Mary Poppins Jr. (Mary Poppins). She would like to thank Mr. Haymes for all the opportunities he has given her to be onstage. As well as the entire cast and crew for being so kind and welcoming to her. She also wants to thank her entire family for being her biggest cheerleaders. And God for giving her the love of theatre, the courage to step onto stage everyday, and the blessing of performing for his glory alone.
Jonathan Sandow (Constantine Bouc) is a junior in high school. In his free time he likes jamming out to country music and drinking black coffee. Jonathan has been involved in various departments of theatre since his first production, Not Your Average Joe, in 2022. Some of his notable roles to date include Cogsworth (Beauty and The Beast Jr.), Philip Lombard (And Then There Were None), Bob Cratchit (A Christmas Carol), and most recently, Bert (Mary Poppins Jr.). Jonathan also stage-managed Couples Anonymous at Kings Player’s Community Theatre, 2024. Jonathan is so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside this amazing cast on another brilliant Agatha Christie mystery. He’d like to thank Mr Davis for having faith in his students and being such a great mentor and friend. “So neither the one who plants, nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” 1 Cor 3:7 Prepare yourself to step aboard the Orient Express!
Jayce Williams (Samuel Ratchett) is 15 years old and in 10th grade. His previous roles include Pilgrim in The Pilgrim’s Progress, Lord Fairos in Kingdom’s Dawn, Curdie in Princess and the Goblin, and Mr Hawthorn in Into the Garden of Thorns. He has also recently reprised his favorite role of Lord Fairos. He enjoys singing, acting, drawing, impersonating various characters, and most of all spending time with his best friends. He would like to thank God first and foremost for giving him this opportunity to perform for His glory. He would also like to thank his parents for their unrelenting support, his friends for always having his back, and Mr Davis for inviting him to be a part of this production. His message to the audience is “Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing it again.”
