Theatre doors open 15 minutes before showtime. Reserved seating. For security, no late entry permitted after the show begins. Patrons must have a train ticket to enter.

You're invited to meet the cast and join us for a potluck following this performance. Please bring 2 dishes to share and place in the kitchen before the show.
Enter through the back BLUE door to drop food items prior to 5:45, and following the show.
You're invited to wait at the outdoor picnic tables or playground as well.

Meet the Cast
























Sophia Ballance (Clown) is 13 years old and is beyond happy to play in her first musical. She is passionate about marine biology, guitar, plays, and fashion. She also works as a babysitter. She is excited to see what the art department has in store for her in the future.
Maria Barrera (Dolly 2) is 7 years old and is excited to be a part of her first musical. She loves putting on performances at home and is now ready to do it on a real stage. She also enjoys figure skating, crafting, and camping with her dogs. She would like to thank Mrs. Frisbie for making this year of Musical Theatre so fun!
Madelyn Broadhurst (Clown 2) age 7, is excited about her upcoming theatrical debut. She participates in her church Vacation Bible School praise team each summer. She also loves dance and gymnastics.
William Broadhurst (Clown 5) age 11, is looking forward to participating in his first theatrical performance. You can often find William completely consumed with a new book series. When not reading, he enjoys playing the piano and golf.
Meleao Frisbie Baade (Mayor) is 11 years old and thrilled to be performing in The Tiny Train that Tried for a second time! Favorite past musical roles Meleao has held include Kai the Sea Turtle/Tad's Dad (Finding Nemo), Ezekiel (We Knead a Little Christmas), Archie (Eternal Frontier), Dad Ant (The Ant & the Grasshopper), Mayor (A Night Full of Stars), Bookseller/Silverware (Beauty & the Beast), Orphan/Townsperson (Oliver!), Kitten/Head Dwarf (Narnia), and more! Meleao loves singing, dancing, drumming, piano, art, playing games with friends, swimming, Jesus, and all animals -- especially his two rescued dogs, Koa and Abi, and his four rescued kittens, Kira, Pip, Cheetah, and BabyCat. He is grateful to Mrs. Margaret McLewin, Mr. Don Davis, Mrs. Mary Sawyer, Ms. Laura Warren, Mrs. Erica Wilkins, Mr. Shayne McCatty, Mrs. Carrie Rubinow, Mrs. Lindsey Hocker, Mrs. Michelle Pudwill-Shiels, and to Mom, Dad, Juneau, and grandparents for your love and support!
Edmund Gardner (Farmer 1) is a seventh grader at Homeschool Plus this year. He loves theater, and has played a minor roles in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Ant and the Grasshopper, and Not Your Average Joe. When he’s not at HSP or the stage, he enjoys rummaging his way through the forest catching and snapping pictures of snakes, lizards, salamanders, and every other type of creeping creature.
Eustace Gardner (Farmhand) is in second grade at Homeschool Plus this year and is excited to be in his first ever theater performance! In his spare time he enjoys pestering his siblings, plotting mischief, and causing general mayhem.
Lucy Gardner (Dolly 3) is a kindergartner at Homeschool Plus this year. Tiny Train is her first ever theater performance and she is very excited to wear a pretty dress and sing songs on stage. When she is not at HSP, she enjoys drawing unicorns, reading books about unicorns, consuming unicorn themed treats, and generally being obsessed with anything unicorn related.
Vesper Gardner (Mayor's Wife) is a fourth grader at Homeschool Plus this year. She enjoys theater, and has played minor roles in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Ant and the Grasshopper, and Not Your Average Joe. Vesper enjoys reading, writing, and art. When she grows up, she wants to be an author.
Oliver Haynie (Clown 3) is 8 years old and in second grade. He’s thrilled to be part of his very first musical! When he’s not in class, Oliver loves swimming, surfing, playing soccer, practicing karate, playing games outside with friends, and walking the family dog. Special thanks to Mom, Dad, and Leon for their love and support!
Jack Hendrick (Tired Old Engine) is 10 years old and this is his second play with HSP Performing Arts. His last role was Charlie Brown (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown). Jack loves playing basketball and piano, as well as caring for his bearded dragon, Dune, and his dart frog, Dawn. He is thankful to Mrs. Danelle for her kindness, and to his family for their encouragement.
Jane Hendrick (Proud New Engine) is 12 years old and this is her third stage production. Her other roles include Violet (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), and Copper (The Ant & the Grasshopper). Jane loves drawing and painting, as well as caring for her guppies and her rambunctious cat, Crookshanks. She would like to thank her family for all of their support.
Sydney Kroener (Dolly) is 4 years old and happy to be a part of her first musical. In addition to theatre, Sydney loves to do gymnastics, travel with her family, do art and crafts, go to the beach, and play with her friends. Sydney would like to thank her brother, sister, mom, and dad for cheering her on, and Mrs. Frisbie for being an amazing director/teacher!
Zara Kroener (Dolly, Clown) is 7 years old and excited to be a part of her first musical! She loved to learn about performing and is thankful for the friends she has made this year through musical theatre. Zara loves to do gymnastics, to travel, go to the beach, swimming and diving, and playing with her siblings and friends. She would like to thank her brother, sister, mom, and dad for cheering her on, and Mrs. Frisbie for being an incredible director/teacher!
Max Manes (Clown 4) is 9 years old and this is his first musical theatre performance. He is an avid LEGO builder, enjoys training in martial arts, loves to sing, and he is the youngest of 4 brothers.
Aila Prybella (Clown) is 7 years old and thrilled to be a part of her first musical! She loves all things performance, and is thankful for the friends she has made this year at Homeschool Plus. When not in class, Aila loves to dance, sing, draw and paint, and play outside with her family and friends. She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, and brother for their love and support.
Jaxon Prybella (Engineer, Clown) is 9 years old and excited to be in his first HSP Performing Arts musical! Jax loves playing the piano, baseball and exploring the outdoors. He is grateful to Mrs. Frisbie for this opportunity, and to his Mom, Dad, and sister for their love and support!
River Seiler (Flower Girl 1) is 8 years old and bubbling with excitement to be in her very first musical! She’s a big fan of anything that involves music, dancing, singing, or glitter (especially glitter). As a brand-new student at Homeschool Plus, River is loving every minute—especially making awesome new friends. When she’s not on stage or in class, she’s probably curled up with a good book, giggling with her friends, or playing make-believe adventures with her little sister, Story. River sends a huge thank-you hug to Mrs. Frisbie for this amazing opportunity, and to her Mom and Dad for being her biggest cheerleaders!
Leighton Steele (Clown 1) is 7 years old and thrilled to be in her first musical performance. She has loved making new friends and all the singing and dancing. When not in class, Leighton enjoys playing outside and playing with her brothers. She would like to thank Mrs. Frisbie, her parents, and her brothers for all their support.
Tucker Steele (Farmer 2) is 10 years old and excited to be a part of his first musical ever. He has loved making many new memories with the cast, and all the singing practice they’ve done. In addition to theater, Tucker enjoys playing baseball and playing outside. He would like to thank his parents for driving him to theater each week and helping him practice his lines, and also to Mrs. Frisbie for all her help and support.
Isabella Witzen (Flower Girl 2) is so excited to be in her very first play. She is new to Homeschool Plus, and she loves it! Some of Isabella‘s favorite activities are singing, dancing, drawing, and volleyball. She loves hanging out with her little brothers and her friends. She is thankful for the love and support of her family.
Emily Xenos (Dolly 1) is 10 years old, loves musical theatre, and is thrilled to be on stage for the first time. When she’s not rehearsing, she enjoys figure skating, drawing and painting, spending time outside, and playing with her friends. Emily would like to thank her family and friends for their support and hopes you enjoy the show!
Joseph Xenos (Tiny Train) is 7 years old, and is excited for his first ever performance! He loves games of all kinds and enjoys spending time with his friends. One of his favorite hobbies includes rock climbing/bouldering. He has loved his first year in Musical Theatre and thanks Mrs. Frisbie for being an amazing teacher.
Emma Yonker (Flower Girl 3) is a 4th grader at Homeschool Plus and is thrilled to be part of the cast this year. Emma's last play role was Sister Agnes in The Sound of Music. Emma loves the creative arts, especially singing and dancing. Emma would like to thank her family in Virginia and in California for all of their continued support.
